Legumes for improved human health

This program is a core part of the ARC Centre of Excellence for Integrative Legume Research.
The focus is to provide critical insights into mechanisms of organ differentiation and intracellular communications within legumes, with a view to improving the regulation of processes affecting flowering, plant growth and nodulation are of prime importance for adapting plants to better fit particular environments.

The investigation is also likely to identify secondary plant metabolites and other regulatory molecules with potential as value added products for human health.
